Citroën también quiere seguir dando guerra y rejuvenece el C4 de cara a 2015 o eso dicen desde la marca, porque apenas se notan cambios de ningún tipo si nos fijamos en las imágenes. El modelo lanzado en 2010 y éste que acaban de presentar son casi calcados.
Tiene un buen papel por delante, porque en Citroën deben confirmar las más de 450.000 unidades producidas en la planta francesa de Mulhouse. Es por eso quizá que los cambios son tan insignificantes. Eso, o que se terminó la imaginación cuando crearon el C4 Cactus.
¿Donde están los cambios?
Ni poniendo una imagen del Citroën C4 de 2010 junto a las que ilustran el texto he podido apreciar cambios, son tan ínfimos que me tengo que guiar por la nota de prensa para enumerarlos. Según dicen, la ‘firma luminosa’ es nueva gracias a nuevos faros y los chevrones de la calandra también son nuevos. Atrás, los pilotos son de ‘efecto 3D’ también nuevos.
El habitáculo sufre también los mismos cambios, es decir, que apenas se notan. Citroën ha cambiado los materiales por otros de mejor calidad y ahora, cuenta con una pantalla de siete pulgadas que simplifica un poco más el manejo de los diferentes sistemas. Las tapicerías también reciben novedades.
No todo es estético, hay cosas que no se ven, como el nuevo trabajo para el aislamiento acústico con especial atención a las posibles fuentes, como el parabrisas, que integra una película de amortización acústica, o el compartimento motor, donde se ha añadido material absorbente y se ha adoptado un nuevo concepto de estanqueidad, que incluye una barrera periférica sobre la carrocería, una barrera sobre las puertas y una barrera exterior. Eso sí, no dicen en que consisten esas ‘barreras’.
Motores Euro 6 y nuevos sistemas
El pequeño lavado de cara que sufre el Citroën C4, trae consigo la nueva generación de motores de la firma francesa, los gasolina Pure Tech y los diésel BlueHDi, que además cumplen todos con la obligada normativa Euro 6 sobre emisiones de CO2. Comentan que con el sistema Stop & Start, neumáticos de baja resistencia a la rodadura y la nueva caja de cambios EAT6, los consumos se van desde 3,3 l/100 km con 86 g/km de CO2 en el caso del BlueHDi 100 S&S y 4,8 l/100 km y 110 g/km de CO2, en el PureTech 130 S&S EAT6.
Estrenará un nuevo sistema de acceso sin llave y arranque por botón, así como el Citroën Connect Box, que incluye llamada de urgencia y asistencia localizadas, una guía de mantenimiento virtual y un módulo de conducción ecológica accesible a través de Internet, además de conexión Bluetooth y puerto USB.
