Y justamente es el Jaguar F-Type el que recibe vuestras atenciones para el Salón del Automóvil de los Ángeles. Como se nota que le mimáis. Y como se nota también que el mercado americano es un filón para vosotros. Por eso habéis elegido el evento neoyorquino para presentar la nueva gama del modelo, donde destacara el Jaguar F-Type R coupe AWD, que estrenará una nueva transmisión a las cuatro ruedas de la que no habéis contado nada. Os gusta que estemos pendientes…
Solamente nos contáis que es capaz de acelerar de 0 a 100 en 3,9 segundos, pero, ¿cuanto pesa la nueva transmisión? ¿mantiene el V8 de 550 cv del F-Type R de propulsión? Menos mal que faltan cuatro días para su presentación, que será oficialmente el 9 de noviembre y pronto lo sabremos todo.
También os vanagloriáis de vuestra nueva asociación con el programa Bloodhound SSc World Land Speed Record, cuyo objetivo es batir el récord de velocidad sobre tierra y ponerlo en los 1.609 km/h con Andy Green a los mandos, quien además, tiene el récord actual con 1.228 km/h logrado en 1997 con el Thrust SSC.
Esperaremos hasta el próximo día 9 de noviembre para que nos contéis a todos más cosas de vuestra joya con tracción a las cuatro ruedas, que por mi parte, resulta más interesante que la asociación para batir el récord de velocidad en tierra con un aparato que tiene de coche solamente las cuatro ruedas.
